CALCOPAC
Buro Destruct

CALCOPAC is a «BEEP» more than a simple calculator. It’s a tribute to the legendary 8-Bit Videopac Game Computers released between 1978 and 1983. CALCOPAC provides a stylish retro calculator with 2 skins and 24 8-Bit sound effects.
Play your results as a little melody – An ironic statement to Kraftwerk’s «Pocket Calculator» and a perfect combination of Fun & Function. It is surely going to replace all my other calculator apps. BEEEEEP

the famous post-modern pixel artists eBoy have done it and released an unique and addictive tilting puzzle app. think of the game labyrinth and add in their pixel art for a spin on things. it all starts out easy, but as you progress the puzzles get progressively more mind bending. some are so difficult you need to spend some time thinking on how to solve them. special thanks to delicious toys in berlin for developing this app for my favorite art subversives eBoy!

Being Renzo Piano
abitare.it

a graphical and interactive compilation of the known architect and designer Renzo Piano as framed from the lense of Abitare (the italian architecture magazine). the experience on the iPad is actually very elegant and diverse. it offers a number of different methods to interact with the content, multiple swipe variations, click and touch, zoom, and traditional scrolling. the imagery and content speaks for itself. This foray into the digital realm and specifically for iPad for a classical publication like Abitare is inspiring. expensive (£9 or $11) but well worth it.
