nav your music collection using planets as a metaphor. amazing graphic representation of artists, albums, tracks, etc. fly through your collection like the voyager probe did our solar system. wish they would have had a hide controls feature to make the entire experience a screen saver (am i missing something @neb?). regardless, its a stellar app and no pun intended!

Poolga

The world re-known Poolga (which loosely translated from spanish means Flea) are long time friends of app.itize.us and have a fantastic indie fine art website showcase for iPhone and iPad. They are truly taking it to the next level with their simple, elegant and easy to use native Wallpaper library app. I would have downloaded it even if it costed a few dollars.

Together with Mike Tucker, CreativeApplication.Net has just released an iPhone/iPad version of interactive incarnation of the older generation of screensavers. Taking full advantage of multitouch, RetroScreen brings back the innocence of 90′s computing platforms with a beautiful way to indulge your nostalgia. It’s like your 1996 PowerMac had a multitouch display all along!

the famous post-modern pixel artists eBoy have done it and released an unique and addictive tilting puzzle app. think of the game labyrinth and add in their pixel art for a spin on things. it all starts out easy, but as you progress the puzzles get progressively more mind bending. some are so difficult you need to spend some time thinking on how to solve them. special thanks to delicious toys in berlin for developing this app for my favorite art subversives eBoy!

i have been waiting for this app with excitement now for the last month since i heard about it from Lopetz. similar to their desktop app of the same name it enables you to generatively make some very cool colorful and abstract wallpapers with custom color palettes with the flick of a wrist. further customize your creations via extensive edit menus, save to your phone, desktop or email to friends (including the color pallettes!)
